Web Design

Today you'll be learning how to program in HTML and CSS! We call this lesson "Web Design" because HTML and CSS are used to power all the websites that you use everyday, from Google to Facebook to YouTube. If you want to design websites from scratch, you'll need to be familiar with these two markup languages.

We'll be using using the HTML and CSS lessons provided by the Girls Develop IT website:

To help with coding your website, you will also be using Replit ( https://repl.it/languages/html ) to type the HTML and CSS and see the changes to your website as you are typing.

You can also use the provided sample code that corresponds with each lesson as a guideline or example for your learning. These are located in the Resources section below, and can be copy and pasted into the Replit editor.
