STARS Outreach Program Portal

STARS Outreach programs are targeted at increasing diversity in the computer science field by broadening participation in computing. We host two separate programs, SPARCS (Students in Programming, Robotics and Computer Science) targeted for middle school students and FLAMES (Future Leaders in Algorithms, Mathematics, and Engineering Sciences) targeted at our high school populations. Each program consists of monthly Saturday workshops aimed at introducing students to computer science concepts. Concepts vary each session with topics ranging from web design and security to programming scientific phenomena.

At this website you can find all the information you need about upcoming sessions, mentor contacts as well as lesson resources. If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to contact us.
